Privacy Policy

DollarFI connects to your financial accounts to help you understand your money. This policy explains, in plain terms, what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the control you have over it.

Who we are

DollarFI (the “App”) is operated by Ten K Ventures, Inc. (“Ten”, “we”, “us”), a Delaware corporation. This policy applies to the DollarFI mobile app and the services it connects to. It does not cover third-party services you reach through the App, each of which has its own privacy policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

DollarFI is an informational tool. It provides insights and education to help you understand your finances. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and it is not a bank, broker-dealer, or investment adviser.

Information we collect

Account and identity information

When you create an account, we use Sign in with Apple or Google to authenticate you. We receive a unique account identifier and, depending on what the provider shares, your email address and name. We never receive your Apple or Google password.

Financial account data (via Plaid)

When you choose to connect a bank or financial institution, we use Plaid Inc. to establish that connection. You enter your bank credentials directly with Plaid — we never see or store your bank username or password. Once connected, Plaid provides us with financial data such as account names and types, balances, transactions, liabilities (e.g. loans and credit), and investment holdings, so the App can calculate things like your net worth, cash flow, spending breakdown, and Freedom Number.

Your use of Plaid is also governed by Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy. By connecting an account, you grant DollarFI and Plaid the right to access and use that data as described here and in Plaid’s policy.

Information you provide

This includes goals you set, any manual edits or overrides you make to your accounts and transactions, questions you ask the in-app AI, and anything else you enter into the App.

Usage and device information

We collect basic information about how the App is used and the device it runs on (for example, app version, device type, and diagnostic or crash data) to keep the App working and improve it.

How we use your information

We do not use your financial account data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

AI-generated insights

To produce insights and answer your questions, relevant portions of your financial data are sent securely to our processing service and to our AI provider, Anthropic (the Claude API). This data is used only to generate your insights in the moment; it is not used by Anthropic to train its models. The insights DollarFI produces are observations and educational options — not personalized financial advice.

How we share your information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App, and only as needed to do so. These include:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify you). We never sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete your personal and financial data from our active systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records by law. You can disconnect any linked financial institution at any time from within the App.

We protect your information using encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit who can access it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to know, delete, correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. How to delete your data

To delete your account and the personal and financial data associated with it, email us at [email protected] from the email associated with your account, or use the in-app account-deletion option where available. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days.

Children

DollarFI is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

We operate in the United States, and your information is processed there. If you use the App from outside the U.S., you consent to that transfer and processing.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of DollarFI after a change means you accept the updated policy.
